Michelle is an elderly woman living a quiet life in a Burgundian village. In autumn, her daughter brings her beloved grandson on vacation. However, this visit is uneventful: Michel treats the guests to mushrooms, which turn out to be poisonous. When her daughter falls victim to a dangerous meal, old tensions between the two women flare up with renewed vigor. While the police investigate whether this incident was an accident or an attempted murder, more and more dark secrets emerge in the family.
